Here are the Grand Master Fishing Trainers:

Angelina Soren (Horde) in Vengeance Landing, Howling Fjord (on the docks).
Marcia Chase (Neutral) in Dalaran (near the fountain, on the Prison side of the city).
Byron Welwick (Alliance) in Valgarde, Howling Fjord (by the water, behind the flight master).
Old Man Robert (Alliance) in Valiance Keep, Borean Tundra (with the other profession trainers).

Fishing Skill-Ups are based off a simple, standard formula and not location of where you are fishing. It makes no difference if you're in Orgrimmar/Stormwind or Borean Tundra/Howling Fjord. Heres the formula:

/25 = Number of Successful Catches per next point.

* - Your current fishing skill, before lures and the likes.

I was thinking about it, and since I haven't seen anyone else post something to the below affect. I came up with a different use for a throwing macro that I have. With the below macro, I can fight when I have a weapon equipped; or fish when I have the fishing pole equipped.

I'm a Sub-Rogue and Hemo is my main attack. The line with "/use Forsight's Anticipation" is only there to show you can also add your trinkets on use abilities. Please feel free to add or remove the "/use *trinket*" line if unneeded by you.

/cast Hemorrhage; /cast Fishing
/use Foresight's Anticipation

I don't know who came up with the original macro concept, thanks go to him/her. I just used it in the above fashion cause I get tired of adding/removing/clicking/searching for/swapping the "Fishing" talent whenever I fish, get attempted ganked while fishing, or have mobs trained on me while fishing. Just equip my weapons and I'm ready to kill you.

*edit: Forgot to add - When you make the macro use the "?" (question mark) icon. Using that icon and placing the "#Showtooltip" line will show what you have equipped on the attack button. eg.: If you have your fishing pole equipped, the fishing icon will display. If you have a weapon equipped, the chosen attack will display.

Ever find yourself only fishing 10 minutes a day and having to look for lures, fishing pole, hat and putting the lure on a bit of a pain? Well I've solved that, I've even solved the issue of putting your gear back on!

Here's what it does: First it equips item:33820 and item:45858. Then it uses the hat onto the fishing pole. Now you are ready to fish in one click. Once you are done you then hold shift, and then it puts your normal hat and weapon on.

Feel free to change to modifier and most likely the items in this macro. You can find out what item "number" and item has by looking it up on wowhead and the site will be called "http://www.wowhead.com/?item=12345"

PS: if you are really wild you can probably fit "/cast fishing" in the macro aswel somewhere ;)
