Our guide covering an overview of all pet battle changes, updates, and additions in Chains of Domination (Patch 9.1) is now live! This is a complementary guide to the already existing Shadowlands pet battle overview.

What's new in Chains of Domination for Pet Battles?
Although we aren't getting any large changes or updates like a pet battle battle dungeon or new world quests, we are getting a large amount of new battle pets. Here's a summary of what you can expect in Chains of Domination:

Several new battle pet abilities
Over 40 new battle pet additions
The battle pet cap has been removed, with the only limit now being 3 of each pet

Purrkins
Purrkin are a new type of mechanical cat battle pet. They live in Tazavesh, the Veiled Market, and hunt the stinky Skrat battle pets! You may recognise the names of one of these pets as game developer and pet battle master Muffinus' cat.
