Also it should be noted that if you kill the surrounding smaller storm-touched pets you can reduce the difficulty of the elementals (Legendary -> Epic --> Rare).Not only will this reduce the stats of the elemental, if you get them down to RARE quality they can drop a pet version of themself as a reward.
Almost all of the legendary quality boss pets can be defeated with Boneshard (Chop, Blistering Cold) and a Black Claw + Flock pet without needing any 3rd pet. I haven't used any other pet combination for these kind of pet battles since bfa. It's kinda lame how overrated Unborn Val'kyr is.

The tooltip for Haunt incorrectly shows the Warlock version (Haunt) instead of the Battle Pet version (Haunt)
If you have the pets listed here (or on Xu Fu), then don't bother taking the boss down below legendary--- its just a waste of time. These pets will decimate even against that level of an adversary.
A single Dream Whelpling can solo Vortex & Wildfire and a single Blood Boil can solo Flow & Tremblor at Legendary.
