Why does it look larger than Pandaria? 😂
Honestly hate how crowded the map has become.
Is it gonna be held upside right though, that's the real question
In the future they gotta make a 3D globe map cuz they aint keeping up with the map being more and more crowded
Pandaria too small, all the Isles continents way too big lol
I know the maps in WoW aren't canon to scale but it would be nice if they just kept things a little consistent.I'm less worried about Khaz Algar being so big than I am about Teldrassil. Look at it, it's a *starting zone* and it's almost half the size of some expansion continents. They need to be confident players will be able to recognise landmasses by position, not shape, and make everything other than the four cardinal continents as small as they are supposed to be in the lore.
Try to have a complaint-free thread on Wowhead. Difficulty level: Impossible.
The map is not literal - just like how Goldshire has a whole two buildings yet is the 2nd most important city in Elwynn Forest; and how epic characters, like Tyrande and Graymane, are often depicted as much taller/scaled up compared to player characters, the map emphasises the current landmass by showing it oversized compared to the older continents and islands.
The world map is unironically starting to look like the earlier versions of the world map that Metzen drew, where Ulduar was a separate continent south of Kalimdor and Northrend was offset way to the left with a bunch of visible sunken land and islands in the middle.Remember that everything in this region of Azeroth was originally just one giant landmass that got broken apart and partially sunk beneath the ocean during the Sundering. It's not weird that it's "cluttered" considering that.
A lot of people don't know how IRL cartography went for many, many centuries to be complaining about dimensions.
I'm going to go out on a limb and say the two icons that depict gun scopes are for gun scopes.
looks like that dog with a creepy face here lol
I thought it was supposed to be west of Kalimdor, the storms being the reason you couldnt traval west from kalimdor to get to the EK.
