Rise, wanderer, and stand triumphant before your hoard of spoils—Mother’s Blessing has returned!
An alluring glow descends across the land, increasing the clarity and temperament of all stalwart demon slayers. Scholars have unlocked new secrets in their ancient tomes, while coffers threaten to burst with Gold unearthed from long-forgotten crypts. Make haste to hone your blade through a week of adventure and plunder to become the deadliest force in all of Sanctuary.
From August 20, 12 p.m.–August 27, 10 a.m. PT, all players will earn 35% experience and 50% Gold at a (multiplicative) increased rate. Lilith blesses all her children, as this bonus applies to both Seasonal and Eternal Realms, and all World Tiers. This bonus stacks, so pair it with Elixirs and the Urn of Aggression to maximize your experience gains while killing Monsters.
Use this boost to carve through ranks of the Battle Pass, climb to higher Levels and World Tiers with burning swiftness, complete your Season Journey, and level multiple characters to their maximum potential. For those curious about where to find this newfound boon, look for the in-game icon above your experience bar that signifies the increased rate of earning Gold and experience.
The Blessed Mother’s cruelty is matched by her generosity, but not for long. Gather round, stoke the fire, and rally your most savvy of companions to decimate demons with renewed fervor. Rise to new heights and earn more Experience and Gold for your bloodlust during Mother’s Blessing!
Why would they run an event during the launch of another Blizzard title? I'm pretty sure the xp events were always deployed later in the seasons and during content droughts... Seems like the smart thing to do, to incentivising returning to Blizzard games whenever there's a lull rather than competing against other Blizzard games.
It's always good to see Blizzard cannibalizing its own games. Launching such an event on the eve of the launch of a WoW expansion, which will contain early access. Bravo
Doesn't take 10 min to reach max level already? That combined with 1 billion legendaries/uniqes after the first hour. None of the satisfaction you normally get from building your character is there anymore. Who would have ever guessed it could be worse from D3.
This seems kinda boneheaded. The game already lacks any reason to play beyond the campaign or maxing out a character unless you just enjoy watching numbers get bigger. Since all the cool rewards are sold in the overpriced store, accelerating the leveling process just means players will get to burnout more quickly.Makes me wonder if they're struggling to meet engagement goals, and they've just chosen a cheap and unrewarding incentive rather than offering something of real value.
