This just confirmed Khadgar isn't dead!
Thank you wowhead for your 10th time reporting this.
LOL wow even khadgar is being skimpy with mats, can they not add the mats to the orders, like that was a common issue with public orders, was that they didn't add mats and placed orders that were too expensive to justify crafting.
nobody wants to do public orders because1. the interface is absolute garbage in terms of seeing what public orders are available2. If there're no mats included and the commision tip is literally zero, why should I use my gold to craft something for some stranger for free?in terms of doing the weekly quests, just place a workorder with your alt
And a %cut on those goes to the guy invented the AH for him later to convert it to Blizzard Balance 😀
For me, the biggest issue with the system is that I can't select max rank for public work orders. That is the reason why I (and probably others) don't post many public workers and instead post them as guild or personal orders. I also can't get recrafting done through this system.
If Khadgar isn't providing mats, I'm not providing my services. I do just fine having an alt send me my orders.Unless they make it to where each person gets their own npc orders, then these will go just as fast.
As long they offer more then 1 silver they will already pay more then 90% of the playerbase.
This isn’t going to help anything at all. Someone’s just gonna snipe all of these npc work orders and you’ll never see them
OOf, recipe unlearned!Sitting around in Valdrakken spamming trade chat or waiting for someone to request your services is not fun. I already spent a bunch of time leveling my professions, I want to also enjoy playing the actual game. Getting knowledge points for fulfilling crafting orders is a bad design. The incentive for crafting stuff for people is the gold. Just increase the amount of knowledge points given by the other quests/in chests. Require people to provide all tradable mats in crafting orders. I think there should be a way to put in a public order with a minimum rank, but with a really high minimum commission fee based on the difficulty of making the item and if the recipe is rare or not. So people can pay extra to avoid sitting around and waiting in Valdrakken for someone to see their message, especially since trade chat is awful to read. If you have time and want so save money, you can find someone to do it for cheaper and send them a personal crafting order. We also need more crafting stations throughout the zones. Each zone needs at least two crafting stations. The current system incentivizes people to just sit around in Valdrakken and wait, while the zones are mostly empty.
I honestly haven’t once done a single work order during Dragonflight. It seemed like such a good idea when they first announced it, when in reality it’s not the most straight forward system with there never even begin a single border to fulfil.
NPCs will post crafting orders without mats, for 1g commission fee.
Catch up isn't just the only or main issueIt's the bloat of the three rank system and the crafting order nonsense. Gathering profs are now only good for the xp to level alts, or training bots. As someone else has said, you can make more money farming old content in half the time it takes to make a profit from this Heart of Professionoth garbage
