I felt like half of the wow population just left the game. There was less danger in the world, and now on retail we have warmode off, and no one is playing with warmode on. I joined pvp realm for world pvp, that's one of the main reasons why I don't play retail that much like before. Since then I'm against flying in every mmo game, and I played a lot different mmoss. Flying is cool, don't get me wrong, especially Dragonriding. It gives something, but it takes something, and If I could choose flying or not flying, I would choose none, even if almost all new zones on retail are now designed for flying, it would be impossible to disble it, and if they took it away, people would start crying.
