I wonder what the reason is to hide them in the pet journal? Seems like a bad precedent, leaving us to go to wowhead to figure out what pets are truly available.
I also noticed that Polished Pet Charms now have a higher stack limit. Dunno what it is now, but it was max stack of 1000, so getting the expensive Baubleworm would have required 10 stacks of polished pet charms.My PPCs are in my bank, used to be two stacks, now it's just one stack. So yay more bag space.However, i do not recall getting mail with my converted Shiny Pet Charms...

Ok Blizz, your trying to turn things around and then you come up with a HORRIBLE idea of hiding in game content? What on earth are you thinking here? I just happen to come across this post here by chance. It's bad enough that you propagate fomo in the payer base in general, but now you have to bring it to a new level by hiding things? I thought you were trying to get rid of the no-fun police..I mean what the hell is this? We are encourage to participate in these new systems, but one of your team thought it would be a thrill for us to get a "surprise!" hidden reward? No...just no. Let us know what we are getting, let us just earn it and stop this.
Pets and mounts are hidden in the journal for years.- You have hidden pets / mounts because they are "secrets" like the Spyragos pet and The Hivemind- You have hidden pets / mounts because they are extremely difficult to get and the source is outside the game (like TCG / Blizzcon...etc)- You have hidden pets / mounts because they take a lot of time to get (like the honor lvl mounts)Probably other reasons...If you want a real list of obtenable items, you have to go on sites like dataforazeroth / wowhead...etcNothing should be hidden : Every item you can get atm should be in the journal / mog list... etc EVEN SECRETS, only removed items shouldn't be in. Secrets not being in the journal just have people not searching for them. Why search if you aren't even sure they are in game? Could be a bug. That's why Terky was found at random by a lost player. That's why they said there are still secrets undiscovered. You check the armory, you can see pets like : mechagnome Tezpet / magma dog with one head Byrn / dog / chicken / frog...etc who aren't in game, aren't in the journal. Maybe one of them is a secret and is hidden, maybe they'll add it later, maybe not... who knows?
