In my experience the fastest trainer is Odrogg (Snailfight), not Sir Galveston. A few seconds quicker :D

Soooo glad I read this! I just wasted a bunch of polished pet charms to get the treats, thinking it makes it go faster. Indeed, if you just have on the Safari Hat, you can still go from 1-25 in 2 battles. Yay!

Heads up for anyone levelling in Squirt today, there's a huge bug. When you skip a turn the enemy does too, it seems to be related to pet speed and swapping out pets. Really annoying. Please help report it if you can!
As I mentioned last time this article was up, I think it'd be more pertinent to include information on how to access Squirt in the first place. After all, a now-useless bit of trivia related to patch 8.1 is still included in the article as a 'recent' change, why not something actually useful instead? At least a link to a guide explaining the Pet Menagerie, if not the Garrison as a whole since it's so old now that many players won't even know it exists.

This morning, the pet XP from Squirt seems to be greatly reduced. With Safari Hat, it required multiple fights, not just 2, to get from level 1 to 25: 1 -> 16 -> 23 -> 24 -> 25. Also, there seems to be no character XP for this anymore.
Why did the Pet Battle Event end early? Isn't it suppose to go until 11am Tuesday; a full week? I'm on Alterac Mountains and it is gone already at 10am.

Weekly events used to run from Tuesday 11am to Tuesday 11am. When did they change that? Now we're jipped out of 3 hours. When does a week not equal a week? When playing WoW!
Broom/levelpet/Weeb still working best/most consistentlyand works fine even with the pass bug mentioned in this thread
