Greetings, friend. I am Talar Oaktalon.

It has been many years since my first voyage to Gilneas. That was a different time for both of our people. A different world, even.
To think now, after all the suffering both kaldorei and Gilneans have endured, we can make this return journey with no trepidation but merely... tranquil purpose.

Old Dialogue

I am excited to sail from Bel'ameth to Gilneas and back.

In many ways, both the Gilnean and us are alike. Losing a home and then getting a new one, or simply reclaiming that which we had lost can uplift every soul.

Perhaps one day I will have the time to visit the Greymanes. I hear Tess is the one, how do they say it, pulling the strings in Gilneas now. I am happy that I was able to bring the Greymanes to safety when they needed our help.

Both our people have suffered enough. May the Rut'theran's Reminiscence bring us ever closer.

I'm STILL wondering if Lakeshire even survived the Scourge zombie attack in that one Kyrian quest, but we'll never know unless Blizzard says so.Comment by NagasshI still think it's lame that Tyrande is giving up just because they lost Teldrassil. For someone who has lived 10,000 years and lost something that only existed for 10 years, I don't really think it would matter all that much in relative terms. I feel like Thrall was the only one of the iconic Warcraft 3 characters that even had children.
Then they also killed Varok Saurfang's son, they made Jaina unable to conceive, Anduin never had a love interest, Illidan gone, Tyrande and Malfurion never had any actual children, Uther wasn't married, Garona and Medivh's son Me'dan was yeeted to oblivion. Kael'thas ended up really becoming the last prince of Quel'thalas. FFS, they even killed Calia Menethil off, so the Lordaeron lineage is truly dead. I hope at least Tess Greymane manages to find a love interest and have children.
It would be so nice if there were at least a few characters that had their struggles, but in the end enjoyed their journey because they fought for what they believed in and kept their people safe, to eventually pass on their mantle to their kids.

If they don't, then its just a waste. Also, she is not their daughter. She is their adoptive daughter, in a way, as she was cared for by Tyrande and then Tyrande and Malfurion.
